At the end of the year of 2000 our business was in a very fragile state, and it appeared as if we wouldn’t survive another year. I was referred to The Neal Group by a friend. Jon Neal came to our office, spent an hour pouring over the previous three years of financial statements, and then submitted a proposal of services he would provide to us in the upcoming year. Although I was unsure of the outcome I signed the contract. What did I have to lose? If my ship was going to sink, at least I would be kicking and screaming while it sank. Over the next year Jon taught us how to use the financial reporting tools we already had in place and how to implement changes in our operations to bring about the financial health which occurred over the next three years.
